The answer to this depends on the nature of your particular matter. Most cases our firm handles are billed on an hourly fee basis. Oftentimes, your attorney will require you to put forward a retainer prior to beginning work, which is a lump sum that is held in trust by our firm on your behalf. Your attorney will then bill against this retainer at his usual hourly rate.
Occasionally, your case may be taken on a contingent fee basis, which means that your attorney will be compensated based on a percentage of what is ultimately collected for you.
As cooperating attorneys with the Ohio Education Association, Hyatt Legal Services, ARAG, and UAW legal services, we offer discounted rates to members of any of these organizations.
As the details of your case are fact-specific, so too is the amount that it will ultimately cost to retain our services. You and your attorney will talk about fees and fee options prior to us providing any legal service for you.
