Tom was born on September 1, 1952 in Findlay. He graduated from Findlay High School in 1970, and from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 1974. Tom graduated from the Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1977, and joined the firm later that year.
Tom resides in Findlay with his wife, Ann. He is currently a member of the Findlay Elks Lodge (Exalted Ruler, 1985-86); the Knights of Columbus; the Findlay Country Club (President, 2001-2002); the Findlay-Hancock County Bar Association (past President, 2003); the Ohio State Bar Association; and the Ohio Association for Justice. He is admitted to practice before all courts and agencies in the State of Ohio, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio; and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Since 1990, he has been a member of The Florida Bar, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida. Tom is also a licensed title insurance agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Title Insurance Company.
